APHCV awarded for Telehealth Funding

COVID-19 has forced many health centers in the Los Angeles County as well as all over the U.S. to change their methods of patient visits in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Telehealth is the delivery of health care, health education, and health information services through remote access. Telehealth has evolved into digital healthcare services that are performed through live video conferencing, remote patient monitoring (RPM) and mobile health apps.

Over the course of 2020, APHCV has been able to secure grant funding for our Telehealth project from the following funders:

  • Direct Relief
  • Federal Communications Commissions (FCC)
  • Health Net
  • Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)

With the support of our funders, APHCV has been able to greatly benefit from the support of our funders during this Pandemic by providing access to care by reducing disease exposure for both staff and patients. Thank you to the support of our funders who helped make our Telehealth Project possible!
