APHCV awarded funding from L.A. Care Provider Recruitment Program
L.A. Care Health Plan has awarded APHCV with funding under the Provider Recruitment Program.
L.A. Care is one of the largest publicly operated health plans in the country and has been working to address the physician shortage in Los Angeles County. In March 2024, APHCV was awarded funding support for one new provider. We are grateful for L.A. Care’s support for recruitment and hiring of our providers, as each new physician recruited to the safety net can serve as many as 2,000 patients.
APHCV has utilized this funding to recruit our newest provider, Dr. Mark Goleski, M.D. We are happy to have Dr. Goleski on board and appreciate the care that he provides to our patients.
